ŻFIN10: Call for Participation

ŻfinMalta National Dance Company, in collaboration with Teatru Salesjan are looking for confident young performers with or without dance experience.

Young movers between the ages of 12-17 years are invited to join us at ŻfinMalta studios on Thursday 17th April 2025, 14:00 – 16:00, for a chance to dance with ŻfinMalta, leading to a performance project as part of ŻFIN10. 

Tara Dalli and Nicola Micallef will be leading a selection workshop in which 10 participants will be chosen to perform in the opening act to ZfinMalta’s ‘DECADE’ on the 25th & 26th April 2025.

This site-specific work will be devised by Tara and Nicola and the 10 selected participants over a number of rehearsals. Selection for the project would involve commitment to an intensive period of rehearsals as follows:

21st, 22nd & 23rd April: 16:00 – 18:00

24th, 25th & 26th April: 17:00pm – 20:30pm

The workshop and rehearsals will start at ŻfinMalta Studios and in the lead up to the performances, move to Teatru Salesjan.

In order to be a part of the selection workshop on the 17th April, send an email to project@zfinmalta.mt with your name and age, letting us know a bit about yourself and why you want to be a part of this. Written content should not exceed 500 words. If you wish to record your message instead, feel free to apply with private video links of a maximum length of 2 minutes. Attachments should not exceed 20mb.
