Mario Manara

Biography

Mario Manara grew up in Italy and started dancing from a young age at Vic Ballet Academy in Verona alongside performing for a local theatre company. Manara trained at Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance, graduating with a first class BA (Hons) in 2020. During his time at Rambert School, Mario had the chance to work with choreographers including Christopher Bruce, Mark Bruce and Thick & Tight. He also had the opportunity to perform his own work at the Lilian Baylis at Sadler’s Wells. Mario then joined VERVE, the postgraduate company of Northern School of Contemporary Dance, in 2021, touring works by Matthew William Robinson, Botis Seva, Caroline Finn and Barnaby Booth. He joined NDCWales in 2022 performing works by Andrea Costanzo Martini, Caroline Finn, Marcos Morau, Matthew William Robinson and Melanie Lane amongst others.
