Biography

Franco-Italian, Hugo Olagnon started dancing with Acrobatic Rock and Boogie Woogie in national and international competitions where he finished seven times French Champion, and 3rd in the 2013 World Cup. After training in contemporary and classical dance with Jean-Claude Gallotta, he trained under Anne-Marie Porras in Montpellier until 2017. Hugo has performed works by Shahar Binyamini and Ohad Naharin. He has danced with the Ballet National de Marseille under (La)Horde, and with Avshalom Pollak Dance Company. As a freelance artist he has recently worked with Damien Jalet for Paris Opera, Richard Wherlock in Basel, and with Alexander Ekman for the 2024 Paralympics Ceremony.
